At THE VAULT, watches are not only our profession; they are our passion. This passion, combined with over 30 years of experience in the luxury retail environment, inspired the creation of THE VAULT in 2015. Today, we are proud to be South Africa’s premier retailer of luxury Swiss watches.

Starting our operations in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, THE VAULT expanded to include an additional multi-brand point of sale in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, Pretoria, and later introduced Africa's first Breitling boutique in Sandton City, Johannesburg. Our stores provide a sophisticated setting where our highly trained staff, with extensive international brand knowledge, offer expert guidance on purchasing and evaluating luxury watches.

In addition to Rolex, Cartier, and A. Lange & Söhne, we offer an impressive range of Swiss brands, each selected for their heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation. We are proud to have opened the first Breitling boutique in Africa, situated in the diamond walk of Sandton City, Johannesburg, with the second Breitling boutique in the V&A Waterfront Cape Town planned to open in Q4 2024.

In 2025, THE VAULT will expand into KwaZulu Natal by opening our third multi-brand retail outlet in the upmarket Umhlanga Arch, Durban.

We take immense pride in being the sole authorised Rolex service centre in South Africa. Our specially trained staff are experts in Rolex and Tudor maintenance and repairs, ensuring that each timepiece receives the highest level of care and attention. As part of the global network of Official Rolex Retailers, we adhere to Rolex’s stringent standards, employing skilled watchmakers trained by Rolex to handle all aspects of watch care.
